ACE Scholarships Louisiana, LLC is an approved School Tuition Organization (STO) participating in the Louisiana Tuition Donation Tax Credit (TDC The program offers a state income tax credit to individual taxpayers or corporations that donate to certified STOs. ACE Scholarships Louisiana, LLC will automatically allocate 95% of each taxpayer's contributions to fund qualifying student scholarships. As a result, an eligible taxpayer who gives a scholarship donation to ACE Scholarships Louisiana can claim a 95% credit. A donor must be required to file a Louisiana tax return; ACE Scholarships Louisiana is not responsible for verifying donor eligibility. Credits are nonrefundable, but any credit earned in excess of annual tax liability can be carried forward for up to three tax years.
